Mjuša Sever is a field expert for post conflict and transition societies, analyst and practitioner with extensive experience in transitional and post conflict environments; a former journalist and trainer with more than 20 years experience working in early transitional or post-conflict environments in Southeastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.

Among her other work, Sever also spent almost six years in Uzbekistan working on human rights and democracy building projects. She remains committed to further assist democratic transition of Uzbekistan and its growing leadership role in contributing to prosperity and stability of Central Asia and its dialogue with neighbors as well as with societies in other cultures and regions of Eurasia continent.

Katja Geršak

Katja Geršak holds a deputy Director position at the Regional Dialogue in Ljubljana. She works as the Adviser to the Director of Pristop Group, the biggest communication and consulting company in Slovenia, mostly working on post-merger integration and market expansion of the company. Prior to her position with the company Katja worked as a Program Manager at the Institute for Strategic Studies (ISS) in Ljubljana, which was, at the time (2006-2008) the only independent think tank working in the area of foreign policy in Slovenia. At ISS Katja worked to connect stakeholders from private and public sectors through events addressing various policy and business related topics and geographical areas (Balkans, EU, Middle East, etc.), as well as collaborated on analytical papers and engaged with the media. Katja has salso gained experience in Control Risk, a specialized risk consultancy based in London and at Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC. She holds a Master of Philosophy degree from Cambridge University in the UK and a Bachelor degree from George Washington University in Washington DC.

Maja Žnidaršič

Maja is program manager specializing for the Uzbekistan program. She studied Political Science – Theory and analysis at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia with a diploma thesis and research entitled “Uzbek – US relations from 2001 to 2008 “. Maja has travelled to Uzbekistan and many other countries several times in the past years and brings to RD staff a fresh perspective of a committed young European reaching out to other regions and cultures with friendship and respect.

Gašper Šemrov

Gašper is an expert in marketing communications, logistics and website editing. His expertise is communication of innovations. He visited most of the European countries and has also traveled to Uzbekistan. With his out of the box mindset and his problem solving skills, he is a valuable member of RD staff.
