Petra Gorjup

Petra Gorjup has held various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia (2008-2013), including a posting in Brussels, Belgium. From 2013 to 2014 she was an Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Slovenia. In 2014 she was elected Municipality Counselor in Miklavž na Dravskem polju. She chaired the Committee for Communal Affairs and Deputy Chair of the Commission on Statutory Questions until 2016. In 2015 she joined Regional Dialogue as the Senior Program Specialist and took over as Head of RD branch office in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2018. Petra has a BA in Political Science from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
