Regional Dialogue is a non-governmental organization based in Slovenia. By fostering dialogue, understanding, and collaboration with state and civil society stakeholders, Regional Dialogue enables the exchange of best practices among peers aiming to advance the Rule of Law for a fair and just society.

Regional Dialogue was founded in 2008 by Mjuša Sever, Katja Geršak, and Maja Cafuta. Its branch office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, was registered in 2011. Regional Dialogue has been at the forefront of assisting Uzbekistan with judicial sector reforms by providing legal and technical assistance as well as training and consultancy, in the areas of rule of law, anti-corruption and compliance, human rights, transparency, and media freedom.

Regional Dialogue experts collaborate with various stakeholders including prosecutors, judges, governmental lawyers, other government officials, members of the chamber of advocates, civil society, educators, and media. Our experts have advised Uzbek government counterparts, devised legislation, conducted training sessions, engaged in teaching specialized classes at legal education institutions, and consulted on several legislative and regulatory processes in Uzbekistan.

We firmly believe in and always strive towards gender equality, inclusion, and rights of vulnerable groups.
